tool. This keeps the tool lubricated and
reduces friction in operation;
� Drain the regulator cup daily. The
presence of water in the compressed
air installation can cause damage to the
tool's mechanism;
� The compressed air flexible system
must consist of a 3/8" diameter hose;
� Never use the compressed air hose
to pull or carry the tool. Damaged
hoses increase the risk of accidents
and injuries;
� Keep the compressed air hose away
from sources of heat, oil, sharp objects
and rotating accessories. If the hose is
damaged, it must be replaced;
� Constantly check compressed air
hoses and fittings to detect and prevent
air leaks;
� In order to facilitate cleaning,
adjustment, change of accessories,
repair or maintenance operations, the
flexible hose must be connected to a
shut-off valve which will interrupt the
supply of compressed air to the tool;
2.5 - MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING
Disconnect the tool from the
compressed air system before
performing any type of cleaning,
adjustment, change of accessories,
repair or maintenance.
Cleaning:
Always keep the tool clean and
dry. Clean all tool components and
accessories after use.
Always keep the tool handle free of oils,
grease or grease.
Do not use
aggressive cleaning
products. These products can damage
plastics and metals, damaging the safe
operation of your tool.

Maintenace:
Replace worn or damaged parts
immediately so the tool is always in a
safe operating condition.
Keep all nuts and bolts tight so the tool
is able to operate safely.

out, all other work must be carried out

2.6 - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

by qualified technicians and only with

3. ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 - AUXILIARY HANDLE
ASSEMBLY (FIG.B)
1. Insert the tightening screw of the
auxiliary handle (8) into the fixing
thread;
2. Screw the auxiliary handle clockwise
until it is fully tightened;
3.2 - DISC PROTECTION
ASSEMBLY (FIG.C)
The disc protection (4) can be adjusted
according to the type and working
position of the tool. It must be installed
in such a way that the closed side
always points to the user.
To replace the protection or change the
original position, follow the instructions
below:
1. Unscrew the screws and remove the
disc protection;
2. Place the protection in the desired
position and match the holes in the
protection with the holes in the gearbox
(10);
3. Install and tighten the fixing screws
3.3 - GRINDING DISC
ASSEMBLY (FIG.D)
1. Unscrew and remove the fastening
flange (11) from the disc;
2. Place the disc (3) on the support
flange (12);
3. Tighten the fastening flange onto the
thread of the rotating shaft (2), with the
flange facing downwards;
4. Place the open-end wrench on the
rotating shaft nut and tighten the disc
with the tightening wrench;
5. Perform a functional test, at full
speed, to verify proper installation of
the disc;
6. To remove the grinding disc, reverse
the assembly procedure;
Wear protective gloves when
assembling accessories;
3.4 - ASSEMBLY OF
ACCESSORIES WITH THREAD
FIXATION (FIG.E)
1. Unscrew and remove the fastening
flange (11) from the disc;
2. Tighten the accessory (eg cup brush
or grinder) in the thread of the rotating
shaft (2);
3. Place the open-end wrench on
the rotating shaft nut and tighten the
accessory;
4. Perform a functional test, at
maximum speed, to check the correct
