Fitting
The display can be worn on top of the wrist (Fig.
1) or on the underside of the wrist (Fig. 2)
Release the Velcro fastening and slide the straps
over your hand (Fig. 3)
Once the display is comfortably positioned on the
wrist, pull the end of the straps to tighten and
engage the Velcro fastening to secure (Fig. 4)
Excess length can be trimmed from the straps.
Remove the Velcro tab by peeling it from the end
of the straps. Refit the tab at a suitable length
and trim any excess using sharp scissors (Fig. 5)
Connection to scanner
There are two connectors on the wrist display to
accommodate left or right handed use. Use the
left connector when using the display on the left
wrist and the right connector when using the
display on the right wrist. (Fig. 6)
Make sure that the white dots of the cable
connector and wrist display connector are lined
up and plug the lead into the wrist display. The
connection lead should run naturally from the
display up your arm. Plug the other end of
the lead into the Easi-Scan Display connector.
When the scanner is switched on, the display
will automatically power on. Following scanner
initialisation the live ultrasound image will be
shown on the display. (Fig. 7)
