Cleaning
Treat the display screen as you would your valued spectacles or sunglasses.
Clean immediately after use, before any dirt dries solid. Leave the lead connected while cleaning.
Grit and mud should first be removed by rinsing gently to avoid scratching- do not rub the screen.
Dry excess water off the housing with a clean soft cloth - do not rub the screen. Clean the screen
only with spectacle cleaner fluid and clean cloth or computer screen wipe - allow to evaporate.
The wrist strap can be removed from the display for cleaning.
To attach strap after washing make sure that the plastic rings
are at the bottom of the display as it shown on the picture
(Fig. 14).
Slide the strap loops over the ends of all four attachment posts
(Fig. 15).
Care
We have built the wrist display to be rugged and water resistant, it does however contain fragile,
sensitive electronics.
The screen is made from high quality optical plastic; care is required to clean this without
scratching.
The display Housing is water resistant to withstand use in the rain and gentle rinsing. It will not
withstand powerful waterjets (e.g. tap full on or hosing down).The connector plugs and sockets are
sealed but if they get wet must be dried out to prevent corrosion.
