ELECTRIC MOTOR SUBSTITUTION
For the motors controlling the back and leg-support movements:
1 – Move both the back and the leg-support in horizontal position (paral-
lel to the ground)
2 – Get the bed height to the minimum level
3 – Set to OFF the main switch situated in the lower part of the bed
4 – Disconnect the plug from the outlet (do not pull the cable when
extracting)
5 – Turn over the bed to make easier the substitution of the motor
6 – Disconnect the motor connection from the switchboard ((19) back
acting connection; (20) leg-support acting motor)
7 – Disconnect the 2 fixing cotters (21)
8 – Unplug the two plugs(22) that fix the motor at both ends
9 – Substitute the motor (18)
Interventions of electric motors ( more extensively on all
electric components of the bed) must be carried out only by
specialized staff.
For the motors controlling the bed height movements:
1 – Move both the back and the leg-support in horizontal position (paral-
lel to the ground)
2 – Get the bed height to the minimum level
3 – Set to OFF the main switch
4 – Disconnect the plug from the outlet (do not pull the cable when
extracting)
5 – Disconnect from the main switchboard the motor connection (23)
that needs to be substituted(back column acting connection; front column
acting connection)
6 – Using a 6mm wrench unscrew the 4 screws (25) that fix the actuator
(24) to the column.
7 – Substitute the actuator
