Unpacking.

Main body
Use caution when removing the casing. The
casing may have sharp edges/corners which may
cut or cause harm.
1. Place the main body on a cloth to avoid
marking its surface.
2. Remove the security screws from the main body
using the service tool provided. Store safely.
3. Lift the backplate out of the main body.
4. If electrical wiring entry is to be from the rear,
remove the rubber grommet from the rear
electrical wiring entry hole. Store safely.

Before installation decide if the electrical wiring
entry is to be from (3.1) the rear or (3.2) the side.
Follow the relevant instructions.
note
This product is not recommended for mounting
onto porous wall surfaces (e.g. drywall) without
a splashback, to avoid discoloring or damage to
unprotected walls. (A back panel for this product
is available from Dyson.)

Recommended height measurements are from the floor.
51" adult male height.
50" adult female height.
50" wheelchair user height.
36.5" children 5-8 years old height.
40.5" children 8-11 years old height.
43.5" child 11-14 years old height.
CaUtion: Do not use the backplate as a guide
when drilling. Ensure no pipe work (gas, water,
air) or electrical cables, wires or ductwork are
located directly behind the drilling/mounting area.
1. Select the appropriate height. Recommended
heights are shown, but may need to be
adjusted for each individual installation.
2. Minimum clearances are: above, 1.2"; sides,
8.7". There should be no obstruction between
the unit and the floor.
3. Measure the location on the wall. If electrical
wiring entry is to be from the rear, the electrical
wiring from the wall must align with rear
electrical wiring entry point in the backplate.
