Mowing with the Grass Catcher

The grass catcher must be emptied
as soon as grass cuttings are left
on the lawn while mowing.
Warning! Always switch off
A
the motor and wait for the
cutting tool to stop rotating before
removing the grass catcher.
To remove the grass catcher, move
the safety handle forwards over
the stop (Figure E) item 0, which
releases the folding handle.
Push the handle forwards to open
the multi-function box. Hold the
grass catcher by the handle with
one hand and remove (Figure J,
Item 10).
9. Maintenance, care and storage
Maintenance
Maintenance covers all work that
keeps your lawnmower in good
working order. You can prevent
accidents and failure of parts by
checking your lawnmower regular-
ly (check that the bolted connec-
tions are secure, check for cracks
and damage) and by replacing
damaged or worn parts.
Repairs must only be carried out
by the service centres authorised
by the manufacturer or authorised
specialist dealers.
A service centre directory is
supplied with your lawnmower.
Warning! Disconnect the

mains plug before carrying
out all maintenance work!
Otherwise there is a risk of injury.
Check the grass catching device
regularly for wear or reduced
function. For safety reasons, always
replace worn or damaged parts.

Note:
To ensure the grass catcher is filled
as full as possible, you should
clean the grass catcher and above
all the air grille after each use.
Warning! Do not use your

hands or feet to remove
grass cuttings from the mower
housing. Use a suitable implement
such as a broom or dustpan brush.

To empty the grass catcher once
removed, hold it by the handle with
one hand and with the other hand
in the rear recess, tip the grass
cuttings out of the large opening
at the front.
After emptying the grass catcher
fit it back into the holders provided
and tilt back the multifunction box.
Never clean your lawnmower
under running water and in par-
ticular never using a highpressure
water jet due to the danger of
injury to people and property.
Store your lawnmower in a dry
place that is protected from frost.
Store your lawnmower out of the
reach of children.
Exchanging the Blade
Please only use original replace-
ments blades supplied by the
manufacturer. Original replacement
blades are available from your
specialist dealer.

Never use replacement parts or
accessories not supplied by the
manufacturer.
If the cutter bar is damaged, it must
be replaced due to the associated
problems with imbalance. For safe-

Mowing without the
Grass Catcher
The Brillencio lawnmower is ideal
for mowing long grass. If you mow
your lawn without the grass catcher
the grass cuttings are distributed
evenly over the lawn from the high
rear grass ejection chute.

Care
The easiest way to remove dirt
and grass cuttings is directly after
mowing. Clean your lawnmower
with a brush and cloth. Always
keep the handle catch clean.

handle retainer if necessary.
Storage
Always store your lawnmower
indoors. This brillencio lawnmower
has a folding handle designed for
compact storage. Simply tilt the
multi-function box so it is open and
store the grass catcher on the
lawnmower.
Warning! Make sure that

cables when folding and unfolding
the lawnmower handle.
