Adapt the L-profile brackets
1
The L-profile brackets must be cut to the correct installation height and adapted so it
does not lean. If the right and left sides differ the L-profile brackets must be adapted
separately. Also decide in this step how the leg will be adapted, see next page. Start the
adaptation of the L-profile brackets by taking out the following measurements.
A / Measurement for adapting the height
- do not use a spirit level. Measure the distance
between the application tool and the
threshold of the car.
B / Measurement to correct any inclination
- place a spirit level at the highest point of the
L-profile bracket and lift up the other end
until it is horizontal. Measure the distance
between the spirit level and the application
tool.
Also note measurement to cut out for
any beams or unevenness in the floor.

Loosen the L-profile brackets from the application tool, mark out the measurement of the L-profile
brackets and cut. Below is an example which shows how the mat should be marked out.
A = 4.5 cm
- add a further 0.5 cm to provide room
for the L-profile bracket leg or mat.

B = 3 cm
