Safety warnings for
vacuum cleaners
Dangerous materials
WARNING
• Do not vacuum or use the vacuum
cleaner near flammable liquids, gases or explosive fumes
such as gasoline or other types of fuel, lighter fluid, hot
liquids, cleaners, oil-based paint, natural gas, hydrogen or
explosive dust such as coal dust, magnesium dust, grain
dust or gunpowder. Sparks inside the motor can ignite
flammable vapors or dust.
• Do not vacuum any burning or

smoke-producing materials like cigarettes, matches or hot
ashes.
• To reduce health hazards do not
CAUTION
vacuum toxic materials.
• Do not vacuum masonry dust or fireplace soot. Those are
very fine dusts that cannot get trapped into the filter and
will damage the motor. When vacuuming fine dust use a
filter suitable for dust (sold separately).
Power cord
• Do not pull the vacuum cleaner or carry it grasping the
power cord. Do not use the power cord in place of a
handle. Do not close doors trapping the power cord. Do
not pass the power cord trough sharp edges.
• Keep the power cord away from warm surfaces.
• Do not disconnect the vacuum cleaner pulling the power
cord. To disconnect grasp the plug, not the power cord.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the power cord or plug
is in bad repair.
• Do not pass the vacuum cleaner over the power cord.
• Do not grasp the plug or the vacuum cleaner with wet
hands.
• To reduce the risk of injury due to accidental start up
disconnect the power cord before replacing or cleaning the
filter.
Unpacking
• To open the vacuum cleaner pull both latches outwards
and from the bottom.
• Remove all the accessories from inside the container.
• The cartridge filter for dry vacuuming (A) is factory
built-in. Remember to use the vacuum cleaner with one of
the installed filters otherwise the motor gets damaged and
the Warranty will be void.
When operating the vacuum
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers or
CAUTION
any other part of your body away from the openings and
mobile parts.
• Do not use or store near hazardous materials.
• Do not leave the vacuum cleaner running unattended.
• Do not leave the vacuum cleaner unattended when
plugged to the power source.
• Do not set any object onto the ventilation slots.
• Do not operate the vacuum cleaner with blocked
ventilation slots. Keep them free of dust, balls of fluff, hair
or any other thing that can reduce the airflow.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the filter is ripped or
without the filter. The only exception is when vacuuming
liquids as described in the Operation Section in this
Manual.
• To reduce the risk of falls use extreme care when
vacuuming stairs.
• If and when the vacuum cleaner is not working properly,
is missing parts, has been dropped or is damaged, was
left outdoors or got wet, take it to a
thorized Service Center.
• Turn OFF the vacuum cleaner before unplugging.
• Unplug from the power source when not in use or
before servicing.
• Do not use the machine as a toy. Exercise special care
when children use it or when they are near by.
• Do not expose the vacuum cleaner to rain. Store
indoors.
• Wear hearing protectors when working with noise level
above 85 dB.
