1. How to maximise your security and protection of your machine
Failure to observe at least the following instructions may cause immediate damage to
the user and/or the equipment.
1.
Follow the safety recommendations in this manual (see pages 57 and 58).
2.
Take into account the effects of kickback and attitudes to minimise it (see page
59).
3.
Strictly follow all battery charging and usage instructions (see page 60 to 62).
4.
Do not change the position of the speed selector button while the machine is in
motion (see page 63).
5.
Correctly attach the drill or accessory and never use drills or accessories of
poor quality or poor conservation. Do not carry out any adaptation of accessories,
parts, etc (see pages 59, 64, 65, 66 and 71).
6.
Do not drill with the machine on speed 2 (see page 59).
7.
Only carry out maintenance operations guided by this manual or by the PECOL
Technical Assistance Service (see pages 66 to 70).
8.
Do not connect the charger to an electrical network that is not designed for its
intended purpose (see pages 54, 59 and 69).
9.
Do not take the machine, drills and accessories to the limit of its capacity (see
pages 54, 58, 62, 64, 65, 66 and 70).
10.
Do not combine or attempt to adapt for a conjugated use, batteries, chargers or
power tools with those of other brands or for other applications (see pages 54, 58, 60,
61 and 62).
11.
Do not store the battery for a long period with a charge of less than 50%, and
periodically check the charge level (see page 67).
12.
Do not leave the battery stored in environments with temperatures below 0°C or
above 50°C (see page 67).
13.
Do not put a battery that is already fully charged to charge again. Initial
overcharge can damage the battery (see page 60).
