Danger of burns!
The chuck may be very hot.
DDANGER!
- Place the drill chuck key (2) in one of the side holes (see ill.1) of the drill chuck (1) and turn the
drill chuck key (2) clockwise.
- Insert the designated drill into the drill chuck (1) opening
- Tighten the drill by turning the drill chuck key (2) counter-clockwise.

Special safety advice
Special work advice
- Only connect the power plug with a socket when the power tool is turned off.
- Never use the power tool in a humid environment.
- Never place the drill chuck key (2) into the drill chuck (1) during operation.
- Attach drills and screws to the impact drill only when it is turned off.
- Keep the handles dry and free from oil and grease.
- Make sure that there is no water or electricity conduit behind the place to be drilled.
- Do not cover the ventilation slots to avoid an overheating of the power tool.
- If the motor has intensely overheated, allow it to run idle for 2 to 3 minutes on maximum rotation speed.
- If it is possible, fix the work piece on a workbench.
Drilling/impact drilling
Note:
i
Conect electric power tools, which are to be used outdoors, to a residual current circuit
breaker.
When you would like to drill deep holes in hard materials, such as steel or tiles, we recommend that you first
pre-drill the hole with a small drill. Start drilling with a low rotation speed then change stepwise to a high
rotation speed. There is a better control of the drill and cracked drill holes are prevented.
For drilling/impact drilling the selector switch (4) needs to be set. Please make sure that it is only set when
the power tool is turned off.
