Note
The PAPR must go through a
pre-use check in accordance with
the
Operating
Instructions manual prior to use.
The breathing hose must be attached
to
the
blower
the Headtop - See Operating and
Maintenance Instructions.
While holding the headtop at either side
of the headband, offer your face into
the faceseal and ease the headband
over the back of the head
Tighten the headband by pulling the
elasticated
headband
buckles, do this evenly
Ensure that there is a comfortable
tension and contact around the faceseal
with no gaps
Check for a good range of motion. The
faceseal should remain in contact with
the face
Note The headtop should feel firm
against
the
face
movement.
Excessive tightening will
cause discomfort and may distort the
faceseal.
Do not use a headtop if you cannot
achieve a comfortable fit.
DOFFING
CAUTION do not remove the headtop
until you are in a safe and hazard free
zone
Once free of any hazard switch off the
blower
Pull the visor away from the face and
off the head
Place the headtop onto a clean surface
Remove

instructions
Proceed with after use cleaning and
storage

are free from all dirt or debris that
could prevent an effective seal with the
blower
Once clean all components must be
left to dry naturally.
STORAGE
Device must be protected from damage
during transportation.
When not in use the equipment should
be stored in a clean, dry environment,
away from direct heat sources between
-10°C and +50°C, at a humidity of less
than 75% RH.
