Usage guidelines
Your doctor prescribed the orthotic and
determined how long it should be used. It
is important to comply strictly with the daily
usage prescribed by the doctor. Medicinal
ointments, etc., should only be used under
the supervision of a doctor.
The technical staff who fitted the shoes
are responsible for ensuring that the shoes
fit perfectly and function properly. In the
event of skin irritation, unusual pain or other
complications that you feel are caused by
the product, contact your doctor and/or the
technical staff.
Intended use of the product/Indications
Clubycare shoes are used for treating club
feet, according to, among others, the

„Ponseti" method. The Clubycare shoe is
an orthopaedic component. The complete
orthotic is comprised of a splint (P.E.A.care)
onto the ends of which the Clubycare shoes
are mounted. The orthotic provides the
necessary external rotation of the feet and
positioning according to the width of the
shoulders. This maintains the corrected
foot (/feet) position as determined in initial
treatment and prevents a relapse.
The shoe is used for the following
indication:
• Pes equinovarus congenitus
(ICD10: Q66.0)
Extra product information/field of use
The shoe is not suitable for use in sea (salt)
water.
Inherent risks of use and
contraindications
The shoes may not be worn on pressure
points or on irritated skin. There are no oth-
er known risks of use or contraindications.
Care advice
Check the shoes regularly for damage on
the inside, the fastenings and the screw
receptacles (underside of shoes).

Clean the shoe with a cloth and water no
warmer than 40°C. Do not bleach. Do not
dry-clean. Not suitable for tumble-drying.
