When a malfunction occurs the appliance will enter its "fault status" and the relevant digits will flash on the display
to indicate the corresponding error code (e.g. E01).
The error codes are as follows:
E01 – Internal P.C.B. malfunction;
E10 – Temperature sensors broken (open or short-circuited) - water heater outlet
E11 – Water overheating detected by an individual sensor - water heater outlet;
E12 – General overheating (P.C.B. malfunction) - water heater outlet.
E13 – Sensor differential error - water heater outlet;
E14 – No hot water with heating element switched on - water heater outlet;
E15 – Lack of water - water heater outlet.
E20 – Temperature sensors broken (open or short-circuited) - water heater inlet
E21 – Water overheating detected by an individual sensor - water heater inlet;
E22 – General overheating (P.C.B. malfunction) - water heater inlet.
E23 – Sensor differential error - water heater inlet;
E24 – No hot water with heating element switched on - water heater inlet;
E25 – Lack of water - water heater inlet.
Reset: to reset the appliance, switch the product off and on again using the
cause of the malfunction disappears immediately following the reset process, the appliance will resume normal
operation. If this is not the case, the error code will continue to appear on the display; contact the Technical Assistance
Centre.
Anti-bacteria function
The anti-bacteria function (disabled by default) consists in a water heating cycle at 70°C which carries
out a thermal disinfection action against the relevant bacteria.
The first cycle begins 3 days after the product is switched on. Subsequent cycles are performed every
30 days (if, during that period, the water is not heated to 70°C at least once). When the product is switched
off, the anti-bacteria function is disabled. If the appliance is switched off during the anti-bacteria cycle,
the product shuts down and the function is disabled. At the end of every cycle, the operating temperature
reverts to the value set previously by the user.
• For the BASE models (featuring a user interface of the type represented in figures 3 and 4):
The activation of the anti-bacteria cycle is displayed as a normal 70°C temperature setting.
To disable the anti-bacteria function on a permanent basis, press and hold the "ECO" and "+" buttons
simultaneously for 4 seconds; the 40° LED will flash rapidly for 4 seconds to confirm its deactivation.
To reactivate the anti-bacteria function, repeat the procedure described above; the 70° LED will flash
rapidly for 4 seconds to confirm its reactivation.
• For the TOP models (featuring a user interface of the type represented in figures 5 and 6):
During the anti-bacteria cycle, the display alternates between the temperature of the water and the text
"-Ab-".
To disable/enable the function, while the product is in operation, press and hold the "mode" button for
3 seconds. Select "Ab0" (to disable the function) or "Ab1" (to enable the function) using the "set" knob,
then confirm by pressing the knob. After confirming that the function has been disabled/enabled
successfully, the product will revert to its normal operating status.
Setting/adjusting the local time
(Only for the TOP models, featuring a user interface of the type represented in figures 5 and 6)
To adjust the local time, the first time the product is switched on it will automatically prompt you to set the correct time;
on subsequent occasions you will need to press and hold the "set" knob for 3 seconds. Adjust the current hour setting
by turning the "set" knob, then confirm the value by pressing the knob. Repeat the procedure to set the minute value.
