Press the
button (Ref. A) to switch on the appliance. Set the desired temperature by using the "+" and "-" buttons
to select a level between 40°C and 80°C. During the heating phase, the LEDs (Ref. 1➔5) corresponding to the
temperature reached by the water so far remain lit in a fixed manner; all subsequent LEDs (up to the set temperature)
flash progressively.
If the temperature drops, for example after hot water has been used, the heating is reactivated automatically and
the LEDs between the last fixed light and the light corresponding to the set temperature will resume flashing
progressively.
The first time the product is switched on, it will be set to a temperature of 70°C.
In the event of a power failure or if the product is switched off using the
temperature remains memorised. During the heating phase, a slight noise may be produced as a result of the water
heating process.
• For the TOP models (featuring a user interface of the type represented in figures 5 and 6):
Press the
button (Ref. A) to switch on the appliance. During the heating phase waves on display sides (Ref. C)
are switched on.
The product has 4 operating modes: Manual, Programming 1, Programming 2 and Programming 1 and 2. Every time
the "mode" button is pressed a different operating mode will be selected (the mode is indicated by the flashing of
the corresponding LED on the display: P1, P2, Man). Functions are selected on a cyclic basis, in the following order:
"P1"➔"P2" _"P1andP2"➔"Manual"➔"P1" etc.
The programmes "P1" and "P2" are set by default to the 07:00 and 19:00 time bands and to a temperature of 70°C.
The "Manual" function ("Man" symbol lit) allows the user to set the desired temperature simply by turning the "set"
knob until the selected temperature is displayed (the adjustment interval is 40°C-80°C). If the knob is pressed, the
setting will be stored in the appliance and the product will begin operating in "manual" mode.
ECO: If the "Manual" function is used in conjunction with the "ECO" function (see "ECO Function" paragraph), the
temperature will be set automatically by the product, this means the "set" knob will be disabled. If it is moved "ECO"
will appear on the display for 3 seconds. If you wish to adjust the temperature, you will have to disable the "ECO"
function.
The functions "Programming 1" ( "P1" LED lit), "Programming 2" ( "P2" LED lit) and "Programming 1 and 2" ( "P1
and P2" LEDs lit) can be used to programme 1 or 2 time bands for the day on which hot water is required. Press
the "mode" button until the LEDs relating to the desired programme begin flashing. At this point turn the "set" knob
to select the time band in which you would like hot water to be available (time bands are selected in 30-minute
notches). Press the knob to store the time band setting in the appliance memory. Next set the water temperature
to the desired level by turning the "set" knob and clicking to memorize the setting. Press the "set" knob again to begin
appliance operation in "P1" or "P2" mode. If you have selected "P1 and P2" you will need to repeat the time band
and temperature setting procedures for the second programme. During the periods for which the use of water has
not been scheduled, water heating will be disabled. The individual "P1" or "P2" programmes are of equal importance
and may be configured independently by the user for greater flexibility.
When one of the programming functions ("P1" or "P2" or "P1 and P2") is enabled, the "set" knob is disabled. If it is
moved, "Pr" will appear on the display for 3 seconds. If you wish to adjust the parameters, you will have to press
the "set" knob.
ECO PLUS: If one of the programming functions ("P1" or "P2" or "P1 and P2") is used in conjunction with the "ECO"
function (see the "ECO function" paragraph), the temperature is set automatically by the appliance. It is therefore
only possible to set the desired time band for hot water availability. If the "set" knob is moved, "PLUS" will appear
on the display for 3 seconds, indicating the simultaneous operation of these two functions.
This operating mode maximises the amount of energy saved.
N.B.: in any setting procedure, if the user does not perform any actions for 5 seconds, the last setting will be stored
in the appliance memory.
ECO function
The "ECO" function is a software program which automatically "learns" the consumption levels of the user, helping
to minimise heat dispersion while maximising the amount of energy saved.
The operation of the "ECO" software consists in an initial memorising period which lasts one week, during which the
product begins operating at the temperature set by the user and adjusts it every day to energy requirements in order
to maximise the amount of energy saved.
At the end of this "learning" week, the "ECO" software will begin activating the water heating process in accordance
with the time periods and quantities identified automatically by the product after it has finished monitoring the activities
of the user. The product ensures a store of hot water even during the periods when hot water production has not been
scheduled.
To activate the "ECO" function press the corresponding button, which will light up.
While the "ECO" function is active, manual temperature selection is disabled. If you wish to increase or decrease the
temperature, the "ECO" function must be deactivated by pressing the illuminated button, which will then switch off.
Whenever the "ECO" function or the product itself is switched off and then on again, the function starts up from the
beginning of the "learning" period.
In order to ensure the "ECO" function operates correctly, we recommend the product is not disconnected from the
electricity supply.
