FITTING THE CHAINRINGS

It is recommended to fit the LOOK ZED 3 chainrings with the ZED 3 crankset. These LOOK ZED 3
chainrings are developed to be compatible with the different groups and are optimised for weight gain,
gear shifts and rigidity.
However, there is a fittings kit for standard chainrings containing 5 screws and 5 struts and the double or
compact chainrings that match the constraints described below can equip the ZED 3 crankset:
- contain 5 mounting holes
- have an inter-axle distance of 110 mm or 130 mm
- have an effective clamping width of 4 mm for the exterior chainring
- have a perfectly flat exterior surface for the exterior chainring
- have an effective clamping width of 3.5 mm for the interior chainring
- accept the placement of the specific LOOK inter-chainring struts with a width of 3.5 mm
For any other chainrings, such as oval chainrings, please refer to the compatibility table available
from chainring suppliers and on the website www.lookcycle.com.
