Filling the water reservoir

• Flip up the lid of the water reservoir (Fig. A, no. ) and pull the water
reservoir up and out of the appliance.
• Fill the water reservoir with fresh water to the Max. mark and reinsert it
in the appliance.
Note
If the water reservoir runs empty during an operating process (e. g. during
the coffee dispensing process), the symbol for the water reservoir will be
illuminated. the current operating process will be concluded and the water
reservoir must be filled before starting a new process.

Switching on and venting

All lines in the appliance have been drained and vented in the factory. consequently,
the first time the appliance is switched on, after the heat-up phase the symbol for the
milk shower
shower. Venting is only necessary the first time that the appliance is started up.
Caution!
Only vent the appliance without the claris
