7.3 Diagnostics

Menu location: Setup Menu → Diagnostics
The Diagnostics screen contains information that can be useful for troubleshooting the system in the event of a malfunc-
tion . The diagnostics screen contains the following information:
• Position Sensor value (degrees). This is the reading from the magnetic sensor in the valve trunion . It is dis
played in degrees and increases as the valve closes . Normal range varies based on installation, but typically
shows a difference of 94 degrees from fully closed to fully open .
• Motor current (amps). This is the actual operating current of the motor .
Each of these values is updated as the valve position changes . They are intended to be viewed only for informational
purposes and there are no user configurable options on this screen .
When finished viewing the Diagnostics screen, press the ■ EXIT button to return to the main menu .

7.4 OEM Configuration Menu

The OEM Configuration Menu contains all of the items that are typically configured at the manufacturer or at the truck
dealer, such as valve options and calibration
The OEM Configuration menu contains the following options:

• Valve Setup

As noted earlier, the OEM Configuration menu option is only displayed when accessing the setup menu by holding the
RED and
GREEN buttons for 5 seconds .
7.5 Valve Setup
Menu location: Setup Menu → OEM Configuration → Valve Setup
The Valve Setup screen contains information about the assigned valve, as well as options for calibration and other con-
figuration, which are organized into the following categories:
• Valve Assignment
• Valve Name
• Valve Calibration
• Valve Options
The Valve Setup screen also displays the currently assigned valve serial number (if any), as well as the assigned valve's
name and color (if any) on the bottom of the screen for informational purposes .
Valve Assignment:
The first time the valve and display are powered up together, the valve is assigned to a display . Details on this initial
setup can be found in the previous "Assigning a Valve" section in Initial Setup above . In the event the valve needs to be
assigned to another display or is incorrectly assigned to a display, this menu option allows the valve to be manually as-
signed to a valve .
If a display needs to be assigned to another valve (after it was initially assigned to a different valve) and there is only one
valve on the network, follow these steps:
1 . Connect the display to the new valve .
2 . Apply power to the valve and the display .
3 . Press the ■ ENTER button to Reassign Valve .
4 . Press the ■ SET button to select the connected valve .
5 . The controller will re-start and is now assigned to the new valve
