Hopper cleaning
If the heater is out of operation for a longer period of time, remove all pellets
from the funnel with a vacuum cleaner with an extension tube. If the fuel
remains in the funnel, it may become damp, stick together and be difficult to
ignite at the beginning of the next season.
Note: If the vacuum cleaner nozzle does not pass the grille on the hopper
cover, remove the grille to facilitate cleaning.
Checking the seals
The sealing cord between door and glass should be checked at least once a
year. Place a piece of paper between the sealing cord and the chamber surface,
close the door and pull out the paper. If you cannot pull it out, the sealing cord
is intact. If the paper can be pulled out, the sealing cord is damaged. Have it
repaired or replaced by a service technician.
Checking the chimney connection
The chimney connection should be checked and cleaned regularly so that
the heater can make optimum use of the thermal efficiency and functions
correctly.
