Removing iso-strips

When the scales are delivered, the battery is already inserted and fitted with iso-strips
to prevent it from discharging ahead of time. In order to start up the scales, you must
remove the iso-strips.
The battery compartment is located on the underside of the device.
1. Push the locking tab towards the battery compartment cover and remove the
battery compartment cover.
2. Pull out the iso-strips.
3. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place.
Choosing the unit of measurement
When the scales are delivered, the unit of measurement is set to "kg" as standard.
However, the measurement result can also be displayed in the English units of
measurement, "lb" (pound) or "st" (stonepound).
1. To turn on the scale, briefly step on UNIT once with a little force.
2. Repeatedly press the UNIT button. Note the display.

Positioning the scales

− Place the scale on an even, firm, and dry surface. Do not place the scales on a
carpet.

This is how your body analyser scales work

Your new body analyser scales work using so-called BIA-technology (Bioelectric
Impedance Analysis). This involves an undetectable, completely harmless and weak
current flowing through your body.
Body Analyser Scales BA 1807
The scales automatically switch on when you step onto the
weighing surface with a little force.
WARNING: When the weighing surface is damp, there is a risk of
slipping.
