2.1

Proper usage

The inverter may only be used in grid-connected photovol-
taic systems within the nominal power and in the permitted
ambient conditions.
2.2

Improper usage

The inverter may not be operated in the following environ-
ments:
• Outdoors
• In humid rooms
• In rooms which are too hot
• In dusty rooms
• In rooms where highly flammable gas mixtures can occur

Danger during assembly and commissioning

The following dangers exist during assembly / commissioning of
the inverter and during operation (in case of assembly errors):
• Risk of death by electrocution
• Risk of fire due to short-circuit
• Damage to any of the constructional fire safety measures
present in the building due to incorrectly installed cables
• Damage to the inverter and connected devices or com-
ponents if used in ambient conditions other than those
permitted, if an inappropriate power supply is used (on
either the direct or alternating current sides) and if devices
or components which are not permitted are connected
• Therefore, all safety regulations apply when working on
the mains supply. The inverter may not be opened.
• When laying cables, ensure that no damage occurs to any of
the constructional fire safety measures present in the building.
