1. BEFORE INSTALLATION
Warning
Thank you to follow these tips before installing the system:
• The system operates on 12V DC voltage. Be sure the polarity of each wire.
• Before installation, check if all elements of the car are working properly as contact & engine start, ignition codes, fire and headlights, turn signals, heating, air conditioning,
power door locks, ... Check after installion that all these elements work.
• When you connect the general GROUND, it is very important that this GROUND is completely stable (no leaks).
• Ensure that all wire passing through tight places are protected by adhesive tape to avoid excessive twisting and degradation of plastic wire protection with risk of bad contacts.
• Ensure that the wiring of the system and all safety accessories are best hidden into the vehicle, never forget you install an electronic system.
• Use a digital multimeter to identify each of the polarities of the wires.
• Do not disconnect the battery if the vehicle has a car radio code.
• If the vehicle is equipped with an AIRBAG, do not disconnect the car battery or connect any wire without certainty.
• Remove the fuse ceiling when installing the system to prevent battery drain (open).
• The reversing video is an information tool, vehicle security and people close to it is the responsibility of the driver only, the driver must look if obstacles or people are near
the vehicle. Our responsibility can not be held liable forcollision.
MULTIPLEXED VEHICLES
The system is compatible with CANBUS vehicles. All the information needed to connect to original wires are on normal polarity (+ or -) of which does not pass coded information
(multiplexed CANBUS, VAN or other coding). You must not cut or touch a canbus wire. IN ALL CASES, IT IS USELESS AND RECOMMENDED CUTTING ORIGINAL WIRES OF THE VEHICLE.
YOU MUST ONLY MAKE A SPLICE AND RECOVER THE SIGNAL POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE HANDLED BY THIS WIRE. For further information or advice, we ask you to contact our technical
services.
