1. Do not install 90° elbows directly into pump inlet. Elbows should be no closer than 250mm
to the inlet.
2. Flooded suction systems should have gate valves installed on suction and discharge pipes
for maintenance, however, the suction gate valve should be no closer than 250mm from
the inlet.
3. Use a check valve in the discharge line when using this pump for any application where there
is significant height to the plumbing after the pump.
4. Be sure to install check valves when plumbing in parallel with another pump. This helps
prevent reverse rotation of the impeller and motor.
Weather Protection
It is recommended that the pump is protected from the weather.
In accordance with EN60335.2.41 we are obliged
to inform you that this appliance can be used
by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.

Power Connection - Single Phase
NOTE:
1. Ensure motor is connected to power supply specified on nameplate.
2. Avoid long extension leads as they can cause substantial voltage drop
and operating problems.
3. Although the Davey electric motor is specifically engineered to perform
on a range of power supply voltages, malfunctions or failure caused by
adverse voltage supply conditions are not covered under guarantee.
Power connections and wiring must be carried out by an Authorised
Electrician.
Davey Silensors are suitable for connection to a nominal 220/240 volt 50Hz power supply.
The pump is supplied with a 3 metre lead which must be connected by an electrician. Always
ensure that the earth conductor included is connected to a good earth. Extension cords are
unsafe around pools - and should be avoided. If the supply cord of this product is damaged it
must be replaced by the dealer or manufacturer.
The pump must be supplied through a residual current device
