5. Slide the hitch in from the rear passenger side of the vehicle over the
exhaust and into position.
7. Sandwich (4) .25" x 1" x 1.5" spacers between hanger bracket and frame
rail on both sides, and reattach the hanger bracket with the M8 bolts in
fastener kit. Make sure the holes on hanger bracket and spacers line up for
the bolt to go through.

6. Bolt together the hitch with the side brackets with 7/16" carriage bolts,
conical washers and nuts. Hand tight only at this time.
8. Tighten all M8 CL10.9 fasteners with torque wrench to 20 Lb.-Ft. (27
N*M) and all 7/16" GR5 fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68
N*M). If needed, remove the two nuts holding inner fender on passenger
side to ease installation of forward attachment point.
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
