3.1 Connecting the sensor/sensors to the measurement inter-
face
The turbines feature an integrated current stabilizer. So you can use a
smaller tube of 8 times the diameter (instead of the recommended ten
times the diameter of a straight tube) when space is limited. The input
and output connections should always be of the same diameter as the
flow meter. This will prevent a narrowing or Venturi effect from taking
place. The flow meter can be used for either periodic or constant testing
in both flow directions.
CAUTION
Only use sensors that are approved for the range of pressure
that you are working with. The approved range of pressure for
a specific sensor can be found on the sensor's ratings plate.
NOTICE
Only Stauff connection cables should be used for measuring.
