Troubleshooting

Problem
After pressing a
button, the indicator
light on the button
starts flashing.
After pressing a
button, the indicator
light flashes three
times, turns off and
the appliance does
not start.
The appliance stops
the process too
early, and the indica-
tor light turns off.
Milk froth is over-
flowing out of the top
of the appliance.
Contact the Melitta

Cause
The appliance is too
hot.
The lid is not closed
properly.
The container is
empty or not filled to
the minimum level
and the temperature
monitoring function
was triggered.
The appliance is
overfilled.

Solution
Let the appliance
cool down.
Close the lid prop-
erly. The closed lid
must be aligned with
the handle.
Rinse out the appli-
ance and let it cool
down.
Disconnect the plug.
Let the appliance
cool down and then
clean it.
