The variety of combinations of these and other
factors, such as lubricant carryover, age of
lubricant, and compressor usage factor will have
a great effect on the actual filter life.
Connecting the EWS in parallel will multiply the
performance by the number of units. However,

differences in filter performance may be noted,
caused by uneven flow from the flow splitter,
due to manufacturing tolerances, and off-level
mounting.
It is recommended that the filter be changed
every six months, or less.
