Where to Begin
New to Sonos?
It takes just a few steps to get your Sonos Multi-Room Music System up and running
(the steps below are fully explained in the Quick Setup Instructions packaged with
your Bundle 250) —
Connect one ZonePlayer or a ZoneBridge (purchased separately) to your
1
broadband router using an Ethernet cable (supplied).
2
Place the other ZonePlayer(s) in the room(s) of your choice.
Install the software and follow the prompts to add the ZonePlayers, and set
3
up access to your music files.
Add the Sonos Controller(s) to your music system.
4
See page 4 to make sure your home network is ready for Sonos, and then pick up the
Quick Setup Instructions (poster) to follow the installation instructions. Once you've
set up your music system, you can add additional Sonos components any time.
Adding to an existing Sonos system?
The Sonos Multi-Room Music System can be easily expanded room by room. If you
are adding a Sonos component to an existing Sonos system, turn to page 6.
Note: The Sonos Controller 200 is compatible with Sonos software
version 3.0 or later. If you are adding to an existing Sonos system,
use the Desktop Controller software to check for the latest Sonos
software update by selecting Check for Updates from the Help
menu (Windows) or the Sonos menu (Macintosh.) Once you
update your music system, you can add the Sonos Controller 200.
