with voltage supplied through the pantographs.

Before running the loco-
motive for the first time:
Unclip the pantographs
(safeguard for transport).

Before packing or storing
the locomotive:
1. Raise the pantographs.
2. Manually press the
pantographs down
and clip into place
(safeguard for
transport).

The pantographs cannot be moved until approx.
5 seconds after each time the system is switched
on. After the pantographs have been moved,
at least 3 seconds should be allowed to elapse
before the system is switched off.

Function on: Pantograph goes up.
Function off: Pantograph comes down.

f2: Pantograph above driver's cab 1 (front).
f3: Pantograph above driver's cab 2 (rear).

When operating together with Märklin Delta or with
an old Märklin Central-Unit (e.g. Central-Unit 6020,
Central-Control 6022 or Central-Control I 6023),
the pantographs should always remain engaged
in the lower position.

When removing the housing, it is advisable to
disengage the pantographs.

If the pantographs do not automatically spring into
the upper position after being disengaged, then
the locomotive housing should be disconnected
and raised until the pantographs automatically
