Prerequisites

Vehicle is suitable for the installation.

Vehicle is equipped with a Sortimo
TopSystem.

Installation surfaces are free of dirt and
grease.

Cross members are fitted end caps as
safety elements.
Note: There are four end caps in the scope
of delivery.

Ends of the cross members are aligned to
each other. The ends are level.
Preparing for installation

1.1
Pre-assemble the telescopic bracket F.
▶ Remove the cable ties.
▶ Remove the screws.
▶ Position the tube E.
Note: There are two installation versions:
a Right side of the vehicle.
b Left side of the vehicle.
▶ Fasten the tube E.
▶ Tighten the screws.
▶ Fasten the hook A.
▶ Fasten the ladder limit stop C.

Pre-assemble the folding bracket G.
▶ Remove the cable ties.
▶ Remove the screws.
▶ Position the tube E.
Note: There are two installation versions:
a Right side of the vehicle.
b Left side of the vehicle.
▶ Fasten the tube E.
▶ Tighten the screws.
▶ Fasten the hook A.
1.3
Cut the tube D to the right length
▶ Define the position of the STS 2.0 Side
ladder lift.
▶ Measure the distance between the cross
members.
Note: The distance must be between 1380
mm and 3000 mm.
▶ Make a note of the distance: _____________
mm.
▶ If the distance is less than 2086 mm, cut
the tube to the following size:
Tube length = Distance - 500 mm
▶ Mark the middle of the tube with a pencil.
