Bathrooms, kitchens, showers, garages or other rooms where the smoke alarm may be triggered
by steam, condensation, normal smoke or exhaust gases.
Lofts or other places where extreme temperatures may occur (outside the operating temperature
range).
Near places where the direction of airflow may vary, such as by radiators or air conditioning units,
windows or other ventilator outlets.
Units should not be installed in dusty or very dirty areas, since accumulations of dust in the smoke
chamber can cause false alarms.
Smoke alarms are unsuitable for mounting on walls.
