When using the Hollywood SR-2 Bicycle Rack, always remember the following points:
Drive slowly during use on bumpy or dirt roads.
Never place more than 2 bikes or 75 lbs (35KG) on the rack.
Keep bicycle tires at least 14" (30cm) away from exhaust pipe.
Check tightness of all bolts and knobs prior to use.
Tighten all straps before and after mounting bikes.
Check the rack, bicycles and strap tightness/condition regularly during use.
Caution: Be sure that the spare tire is properly mounted to the vehicle and that the mounting bracket/apparatus is suitable and
strong enough to support the entire weight of the spare tire, bike rack and bicycle(s). Contact the vehicle manufacturer if there
are any questions regarding the strength of the mounting apparatus.
Compatibility: This rack will NOT fit Honda CRV (1996-2007) and Toyota RAV4 (1996-2009) Please use model SR1.
Fits tire sizes up to 12.5" with 3.25" wheel backspacing or equivalent.

Step 1: Measure the distance from the face of
the spare tire to the wheel's mounting plate
Tools needed: tape measure and yardstick
(or equivalent straight edged object).
1.
Remove center cap from wheel. This may
require you to remove the wheel to "pop"
the cap off.
2.
Look inside the hole in the wheel and
make sure you can see the wheel's
mounting plate.
3.
Place the yardstick against the tire so that
it is making contact with both sides of the
tire and intersects the
wheel's hole.
4.
Insert the tape measure until it stops
against the plate and record the distance
(see Fig. 1).
If the measurement is between 2.75" (70mm)
and 4.25"(108mm), use the "Short Mounting
Tube" and short center bolt.
If the measurement is between 4.25" (108mm)
and 5.75"(145mm), use the "Medium Mounting
Tube" and medium center bolt.
If the measurement is between 5.75" (145mm)
and 7.25"(185mm), use the "Long Mounting
Tube" and long center bolt.

If the measurement is less than 2.75" (70mm) or greater than
7.25"(185mm), please call Hollywoodracks at 800-747-4085 or
email us at info@hollywoodracks.com for assistance. We will
require the rack's serial number, tire size, wheel size and
backspacing, vehicle make/model/year and the measurement that
you have just taken.

The mounting plate’s tube should be protruding from the center of the wheel (Fig. 9). Be sure your tire is properly inflated before installing rack to mounting plate.
