Assembly of the central telematics unit

CAUTION
Possible damage to property.
To avoid the risk of short circuit:

Before starting work, switch off the ignition and
disconnect the main line from the battery in such a
way that the entire vehicle electronics are stress free.
►
Assembly must only be carried out by specialists.
►
During installation, make sure that the cable and plug
are securely fixed in place.
The central telematics unit can be connected to
a ContiPressureCheckSystem

with display (variant A)
or
■
without display (variant B)
The differences in the assembly of these two variants are explained
in the individual work steps.
1. Mount the central telematics unit on the vehicle. When positioning,
observe the "Requirements for the installation location of the
electrical components" on page 18.
2. Connect the blue plug of the supplied GPS antenna to the blue
connection of the central telematics unit and mount the GPS antenna.
