Appropriate Usage
The instrument may only be used under the conditions and purposes in com-
pliance with the specification. For this reason, the Safety Measures section
(Chapter 2.0), the technical data section including environmental conditions
(Chapter 7.0) and the usage in dry environments have to be complied with,
in particular.
The operational safety is not ensured when modifying or changing the in-
strument

Transport and Storage
Any transport damage caused by inappropriate packaging will be excluded from
all warranty claims.
In order to avoid instrument damage, it is recommended that the batteries are re-
moved when not using the instrument over a longer time period.
However, should it be contaminated by leaking battery cells, the instrument has
to be returned to the
factory for cleaning and inspection.
The instrument has to be stored in a dry, closed room. Should the instrument
have been transported
in extreme temperatures, it requires a recovery time of at least 2 hours prior to
operation.
