Activated carbon ilter
The activated carbon ilter is able to absorb airborne gases (unpleasant odours or tobacco smoke)
thereby iltering them out of the air. Its capacity is inite for which reason the ilter should be re-
placed at approximately 6-month intervals depending on the level of air contamination caused by
unpleasant odours and tobacco smoke. Should it become apparent, even before the end of the
6-month period, that the unpleasant odours are no longer being adequately eliminated, this is a
further indication that the ilter should be replaced.
Fragrance compartment
The fragrance compartment leece may be moistened with a few drops of fragrance (max. 1-2
drops). Pegasus will then give of the fragrance into the room air, generating an agreeable ambi-
ance. Please note: if used in excess, fragrances may attack and damage plastic. Therefore, please
add no more than 1-2 drops to the leece, and do not add any more until the irst fragrance is used
up . If in doubt, please wash out and dry the fragrance compartment and leece.
Speed levels
The air puriier has 5 diferent speed levels for diferent applications:
Level 1, very quiet – e.g. for bedrooms overnight
Level 2, quiet – for bedrooms or smaller rooms
Level 3 for continuous daytime use in smaller rooms (25m
Level 4 for continuous daytime use in larger rooms (up to 50m
Level 5, high-speed – for quick air puriication or puriication of heavily polluted air
Timer
The appliance switches of automatically after 2, 4 or 8 hours as you wish. Ideal for air puriication
when you leave the home but would like to have the air puriied in your absence. The appliance can
also be used without the timer and is suitable for continuous operation.
Night mode
Today, many appliances incorporate LED lights which are unsuitable for night-time use in a bedroom.
In night mode, the light intensity is reduced to a pleasant level.

CLEANING THE FILTER

Prior to any maintenance work and after each use, switch of the appliance and withdraw the adap-
tor from the socket.
Never immerse in water (risk of short circuit).
• External surfaces should only be wiped of with a damp cloth and then dried well.
• The preliminary ilter can be cleaned carefully with a vacuum cleaner. The ilter should be
changed at 6-month intervals.
• The activated charcoal ilter cannot be cleaned and should be replaced at intervals of no more
than 6 months.
A space in which to record the date is printed on the activated charcoal ilter. Please enter the ilter
itting date. Six months after the recorded date, replace the activated charcoal and preliminary
ilters. The Pegasus Combi Filter Pack is available from your household appliance dealer for this
purpose.
Fine particles, viruses and bacteria accumulate in the HPP ilter over the course of time. You should
therefore wash out this ilter under cold running water at 2-month intervals. The ilter should then be
allowed to dry outside the appliance. You may reit the ilter when no water drops are visible inside.
