2 Installation
1 Turn off the main power to your thruster(s) at the battery switch(s).
It is not sufficient to just turn off the control circuits by pushing the button on
the face of the control panel (joystick or rocker switch) on the dash/instru-
ment panel of your helm station.
Open the panel or hatch that provides access to the underside of the dash/instrument
panel. If you have more than one helm station, select the one that's the furthest from
the thruster on a single thruster boat, or furthest from the bow thruster on a boat with
bow and stern thruster.
3 Identifying and/or programming of receiver modules:
Programming a receiver module for a bow thruster or a stern thruster is done
by the purple wire at the receiver.
For a bow thruster that pur-
ple wire must be a loop.
For a stern thruster that pur-
ple wire must be cut.
Insert the plug of the receiv-
er module (or plug of each
receiver module) into the
female plug hanging from the
back of the dash/instrument
panel thruster control.
The receiver has a male and female plug, so more fixed panels can be connected in
daisy chain to the receiver wiring loom.
