7. Once the window fan is installed securely, plug the power cord into an outlet and
turn the fan ON by pressing the speed control button once. This will turn it on
LOW.
8. Once the fan is running, choose the function you desire from the lower function
control: Cool, Exhaust, or Circulate.
9. You may then change your speed to the desired speed: LOW, MED, or HIGH.
Slider Windows
1. With the extender panels locked into the unit, set the window fan vertically in the
window with the control panel facing the center of the opening. The fan must fit
securely against the inside opening of the window opening. Slide the window
closed to fit snugly against the bottom of the fan housing. Unlock the extender
panel on the top and extend it to fit your window and lock it in place.
2. If there is space above the extender panel you may build a plywood panel to fill
up the empty space above the extender panel and secure it to the window frame.
Please note that the window screen should not be removed.
3. Please follow instruction 7, 8, and 9 from the previous section to operate the fan.
NOTE: This fan is designed and recommended for use with a screen in the
window.
