Before First Use
Read all instructions before first use and follow them carefully.
How to use with extender panels
1. Measure your window size to determine if 1 or 2 extender panels will be needed.
This fan will fit windows from 23.4" wide (using main unit only) and up to 31"
wide (with both adjustable extender panels fully extended). DO NOT PLUG THE
FAN IN UNTIL THE TWIN WINDOW FAN IS SECURELY INSTALLED.
2. Set the window fan into the window opening. Please note that in most cases, the
window screen does not have to be removed or left open.
3. If extender panels are needed, have the front of the fan facing you, pull up the
tabs (top) and pull down on the tabs (bottom) on both the left and right sides
of the main unit.
4. Align the window fan horizontally with the speed control buttons facing you and
the power cord hanging from the front of the fan under the function control
buttons. If the window fan does not fit snugly in your window, pull out the
extender panel(s) until it fits.
5. Once you have adjusted the window fan and extender panels based on the size of
your window, lock the extender panels in place.
6. To keep the fan in place, carefully close the window so that the bottom edge for
the window rests on the flat area on the top of the window fan.
