The dehydration time depends on the size and thickness of
the pieces or slices cut. Decide yourself how you would prefer
to enjoy your food.
Pineapple
Peel and cut into small
pieces.
Apples
Peel and cut into approx.
0.12" (3 mm) thick slices.
Bananas
Peel and cut into approx.
0.12" (3 mm) thick slices.
Pears
Peel and cut into approx.
0.12" (3 mm) thick slices.
Beans
Boil whole beans until
soft and let them drain
thoroughly.
Peas
Pod, blanch and drain
thoroughly.
Strawber-
Halve or cut into approx.

0.31" (8 mm) thick slices.
Cucumbers Peel and cut into approx.
0.12" (3 mm) thick slices.
Carrots
Clean and cut into approx.
0.12" (3 mm) thick slices.
Cherries
Pit and leave whole.
Herbs
Wash, drain well and fill
in a tea bag.
Leek
Halve, cut into 2.36–3.15"
(6–8 cm) long pieces,
blanch and drain well.
Mandarins
Peel and place the slices
on the sheet.
