The zero position on the refractometer calibration must be checked before each use and afterwards.
A zero point calibration should be performed before any measurement where the highest possible accuracy is
required or if the environmental temperature has great variations. It is recommended to use deionized water.
(The temperature for the calibration liquid should be ideally near 20°C / 68°F)
-Inspect the prism to ensure that is clean and dry.
-Place a few drops of calibration liquid on the prism
-Press
(calibration button) to start
-The refractometer will show the calibration process on the LCD (Image 1)
-If the procedure is successful a "PASS" message will appear on the screen (Image 2)
-After the calibration, the LCD will return to temperature mode. Calibration result will be saved and it will be
the new zero point after the device is turned off and on again.

keep the prism surface dry and clean to
