Assembly instructions
The assembly of the flue gas sensor is used, by ques-
tioning the DIEMATIC control unit in paragraph "#
MEASURES" line "SMOKE TEMP." (see instructions
provided with the DIEMATIC control panel or the boiler),
to read the maximum value of the flue gas temperature
measured by the control unit when the unit is switched
on.
This is a means of reading the flue gas temperature,
even if the burner is stopped; this memory is reset to
zero (after sweeping the boiler, for example ) by switch-
ing the boiler power supply off and then on again using
the main switch.
1. INSTALLING THE FLUE GAS
SENSOR
The flue gas sensor is located in a hole Ø 7 mm drilled in
the flue gas tube at a maximum distance of 1.5 m from
the boiler. It is fixed by a Ø 4 mm self tapping screw.
Recommendations for installing the sensor:
A significant measurement point is located:
- at a distance of 3 x D from the flue gas outlet
(D = diameter of the flue gas tube)
- and at a penetration equal to 1/3 of the diameter D for
horizontal flue gas outlets and 1/2 of the diameter D for
vertical outlets.
2. CONNECTION TO THE DIEMATIC
CONTROL PANEL...
Switch off the boiler.
The flue gas sensor should be connected to the 2 termi-
nals on the control panel connection strip at the location
marked "SF".
Note : if the panel is pre-fitted with a connector marked
"flue gas sensor", remove the connector mounted on the
sensor and connect the 2 wires on the sensor to the point
provided on the panel connector.
IMPORTANT:
Never put the flue gas sensor wires (very low volt-
age) in the same duct or cable way as wires carrying
a 230 V power supply. In addition, be careful to allow
a minimum distance of 10 cm these wires.

3. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
