• PENALIZATIONS: three possible penalizations are foreseen:
1 - For improper use: Excess input Signal.
2 - For disconnection or Boycott of the Sensor microphone.
3 - For continuously exceeding the Level adjusted in the environmental Sensor.
• PINK NOISE: Included to ease maximum Accuracy in Adjustments. The TSL
will not allow unexpected starts. The DJ or the professional Musician will be
able to concentrate on his job and forget the fact that a Controller is actually
controlling him. Its operation is imperceptible except if Voluntary excesses are
produced.

3 - PROGRAMMING THE CLOCK

?? RUNNING MODE
The TSL has a built-in clock/calendar, which provides with the current date and
time, and a RAM memory, which stores the programs.
When in "running" mode, the TSL selects an attenuation level out of four
possibilities, depending on the data contained in its memory and the current
date and time. The existing attenuation levels are as following:
?? DAY: day limit, depending on the level adjusted with the knob DAY
THRESHOLD in section LIMITER ADJUST
?? NIGHT: night limit, depending on the level adjusted with the knob NIGHT
THRESHOLD in section LIMITER ADJUST
?? MUTE: Silent mode, no signal at the output
?? BYPASS: No attenuation. It can be programmed – if desired – for sound
system maintenance and/or check.
Choosing one or other attenuation level depends on the program stored in TSL
clock/calendar. There are two kinds of program:
?? The Weekly Program: is the main program. It dictates the TSL
attenuation level regarding to the current week day and time. It is date
independent, so it will repeat the same for each week of the year.
?? The Bypass Dates: are an option. These are time intervals in which the
TSL switches to BYPASS mode. Up to 10 Bypass Dates are available for
programming.
The Bypass Dates override the Weekly Program. In other words, the TSL the
Weekly Program when it finds itself in a Bypass Date interval. As soon as the
TSL exits the Bypass interval, and there is no other Bypass Date corresponding
to the current date, it will switch to the Weekly Program.
