Switch on the mains voltage to all EPL modules.
• The Conf. LED flashes on all modules. This means that the EPL modules are not
configured/programmed (default setting) (fig. 1).
• If the Conf. LED does not light, you must reset the device.
• Press and hold the Reset button for around 6 s. The Conf. LED will then flicker briefly.
A few seconds after releasing the Reset button, the Conf. LED will flash regularly,
indicating that the EPL module has been reset to the default setting.
• Use a screwdriver to briefly press the Prog. button on any EPL module.
• The EPL module will then automatically create a domain with a certain coding.
All unconfigured EPL modules in range will program themselves automatically to
GB
this domain.
This ensures that EPL modules of different domains cannot interfere with each other.
• The modules are programmed and ready for operation after 5 s - 10 s.
All Conf. LEDs stop flashing.
• If one EPL module's Conf. LED continues to flash, follow the practical advice under Point 5.
• To extend an existing domain, follow the procedure outlined under Point 4.2.
