USE
1. To fill the kettle with water, remove it from
its base, open its lid by turning the handle
on the lid, then pour the desired quantity of
water into the kettle. Always fill the kettle
between the minimum (0.5 l) and maximum
(1.7 l) marks. If there is not enough water in
the kettle, it will turn off before the water has
boiled.
NOTE: Never exceed the maximum mark
when you fill the kettle, otherwise there is
a risk of splashing of boiling water through
the spout. Make sure that the lid is securely
closed before connecting the power cord to an
electrical outlet.
2. Place the kettle on its power supply base.
3. Plug the power cable of the appliance into
a mains socket. Lower the on/off switch to
the "I" under the handle. The light of the on/
off switch turns on and the appliance starts
to heat the water. The kettle automatically
turns off once the water has boiled and the
light goes out. At any time while the water is
heating up, you can switch off the kettle by
putting its on/off switch to the " O ".

NOTE: Make sure that the lid is correctly
locked in place and to this that nothing
obstructs access to the switch. The kettle may
not automatically switch off if its switch is
stuck or if its lid is left open.
4. Lift the kettle from its power supply base and
then pour the water that it contains.
NOTE: Carefully pour the water contained
in your kettle, because boiling water can cause
burns. Do not open the lid while the water in
the kettle is hot.
5. The kettle cannot boil the water again as
long as its switch has not returned to the
up position. Let it cool down for 15 to 25
seconds before boiling the water again. The
kettle can be stored on its power supply base
when it is not being used.
NOTE: Make sure that the power supply is cut
off when you are not using the kettle.
DRY-BOIL PROTECTION
If you inadvertently use the kettle with no
water in it, the dry-boil protection system will
automatically switch it off. If this happens, leave
the kettle to cool down before filling it with cold
water and boiling it.
