CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the appliance from the mains
socket before cleaning it.
Never immerse the kettle or its power cord in
water and make sure that they never come into
contact with water.
DESCALING
The minerals in tap water can cause the formation
of deposits and discolour the inside of the kettle.
To remove these deposits, use a liquid descaler and
a non-toxic and easy to use cleaning product.
Another method of descaling:
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar
and top up with water. Leave to stand for a
whole night. Do not boil.
2. Empty the kettle. Eliminate the deposits still
present in the spout by rubbing with a damp
cloth. Fill the kettle with fresh water, boil,
then discard the water. Repeat this process.
The kettle is now ready to use.
Wipe the surface of the kettle with a damp cloth.

soft and damp cloth but never use a toxic cleaning
product.
STORAGE
When the kettle is not being used, its power cord
must be wrapped around the storage compartment
under the base of the kettle.
