NOTE:
The engine guard can be used together with the optionally available crash
bars 60112068000 or with the optionally available center stand
62003022000.
NOTE:
When mounting the engine guard with the center stand, screws M10x230
and M10x35 are not required.

Preparations
- Insert the rubber bushings in the holes (Figure A).
- Insert the collar bushings in the rubber bushings (Figure A).
- Mount the large brackets (2) and (3) + countersunk washers M6 and
screws M6x25 (6) on the engine guard (Figure B).
Mounting at the front
Mounting without crash bars
- Remove the original screw (13).
- Position the engine guard.
- Position the 16mm spacers (8) and the 15mm spacers (14) on the left and
right between the large bracket and the engine bearer; mount screw M10x280
(10) + washer M10 (11) (45Nm, Loctite 243) and secure with nut M10.

NOTE:
8 Insert the screw from the right to the left.
Mounting with crash bars 60112068000
- Mount the crash bar (7) (see Power Parts manual 3.211.552).

NOTE:
Do not mount the long pin (10) (included with crash bar). If the crash bar
is already mounted, remove the long pin (10).
- Position the engine guard.
- Position the 16mm spacers (8) on the left and right between the engine
bearer and crash bar; position the 9mm spacers (9) on the left and right
between the crash bar and large bracket; mount screw M10x280 (10) +
washer M10 (11) (45Nm, Loctite 243) and secure with nut M10.
NOTE:
Insert the screw from the right to the left.

Mounting at the rear
Mounting without a center stand
- Remove the original screw (12) on the right.
