BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE

Before you call for service, review this list. It may save you time and expense. This list includes common
occurrences that are not the result of a defect in workmanship or materials.
Problem
The dehumidifier may
not be operating
properly when
Moisture removal is
small
During operation
mode, Dehumidifier
does not dry the air as
it should.
Humidity indicated by
the unit is different
from real value.
When fan noise
occurs.
Unit turns on and off.
Water leaks.
Possible Causes
• The power cord is unplugged.
• The fuse is blown or circuit breaker is
tripped.
• Water bucket is full.
• Bucket is not installed.
• The room humidity is less than selected
humidity setting.
• Defrosting is under way. (Defrosting
lights up.)
• Air filter is clogged or usage
period(about 5months) has passed.
• Air Deodorizing mode is set.
• Temperature and humidity in the room
are low.
• Air inlet or air outlet is clogged.
• Doors and windows may not be closed
tightly.
• Area to be dehumidified is too large.
• There may be a humidity generating
object (such as stove) present.
• Humidity may differ depending on location.
• Floor is unstable.
• Move the dehumidifier and after
removing the bucket, replace it.
• Air filter is clogged.
• Humidity may be automatically
controlled by AUTO dehumidified Mode.
• The dehumidifier may have been tipped
or fallen over.

Solutions
• Make sure the dehumidifier plug is pushed completely
into the outlet.
• Check the house fuse or circuit breaker box and replace
the fuse or reset the breaker.
• The dehumidifier automatically turns off when this
occurs. Empty the bucket.
• Make sure the bucket is installed properly.
• Adjust humidity setting to a lower level.
• Sensor is operating
• If room humidity is lower than that you selected, the
operation will stop.
• Clean or change the air filter (if over 5 months).
• Change to the automatic dehumidification mode.
• Adjust the temperature or humidity.
• Remove clog in front of air inlet or air outlet.
• Close the door and windows.
• Check with your dealer to see if the capacity is adequate.
• Don't use with any humidity-generating object (such as
stove).
• Install the unit in stable place.
• Make sure the bucket is installed properly.
• Clean the air filter.
• Change the humidity setting to a lower level.
• Be careful when moving the unit
