I. Open the lid. Place the food, which should be as dry as possible
into the basket. Remove any loose ice from frozen food. Always
pat dry fresh or frozen food to minimize water in the oil.
J1. Gently lower the basket with food into the oil. Beware of oil
spattering when food is being putting into the oil.
I
J2. Wait 1 minute before closing the lid. Beware of the hot, escaping
steam coming out from the vent.
K1 & K2. When the cooking process is finished, open the lid and lift
up the basket to rest on the hook.
Be careful of the steam when you open the lid.
This allows the excessive oil to drain back into the bowl. The
10s
food is then ready to serve.
To avoid early degradation of the oil, do not add salt, spices or
other substances into the oil or during frying.
Remove basket from oil tank. Excessive oil attached to basket
can be shook off gently.
To use a second time, correct the oil level if necessary, then wait
for the ready light to turn on again for preheating. Then follow
the steps mentionned previously. Because oil loses its favor
properties rather quickly, you have to change the oil regularly
(after 8 times. If using sunflower oil, ensure the oil is changed

L
after every 5 uses.). Always change the oil
if it starts foaming when it is heated, or it

has strong smell or taste or it turns dark or
becomes thick.
L. At the end of cooking, come back to the
initial position.
