Before First Use
• Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and undamaged.
• Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage.
• Fully unwind the power cord (9).
• Clean the appliance according to "Cleaning and Care".
Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and babies, therefore keep them away
to avoid suffocation.
Operation
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not
touch the appliance during and/or immediately after operation.
Never operate the appliance without the rice bowl.
Cooking Rice
Note: Only use loose rice and no boil in bag rice!
1. Measure the amount of rice with the measuring cup (10). One cup of rice equals 160 ml on the measuring
cup. Always rinse the rice several times before adding it into the rice bowl.
2. Add the rice into the rice bowl (2), make sure that it is evenly distributed and add the respective amount
of cold water (see level indication inside the rice bowl).
Indication (2-8 cups) for how much water should be used, can be found inside
the rice bowl, e.g. if two measuring cups of rice are used the water level should reach the
indication mark for "2 cups" inside the rice bowl. Max. amount of rice is 8 cups.
