3. Before inserting the rice bowl (2) into the appliance, wipe the outside of the rice bowl (2) in order to make
sure than no foreign objects stick to the outside of the rice bowl.
4. Place the rice bowl (2) into the appliance (1) and make sure that it is properly inserted.
Attention: The appliance cannot be switched on if the rice bowl is not inserted!
5. Place the lid (4) onto the appliance.
During use, hot steam might evaporate, therefore never remove the lid during operation.
6. Connect (9) the appliance to a properly installed wall socket.
7. Press the On/Off (1/0) button (8). The "WARM" indicator light (6) lights up.
8. Press down the selection button (7) and the "COOK" indicator light (5) lights up and the cooking process
starts.
9. After the cooking process is completed the appliance automatically switches into the "WARM" mode,
the "COOK" indicator light (5) goes off and "WARM" indicator light (6) lights up.
Do not keep the cooked rice on "warm" mode for more than 12 hours.
10. Remove the lid (4) and use the spatula (11) to loosen and take out the rice.
Attention: Use pot holder when removing the rice bowl! Risk of burns.
After use, always switch off (8) the appliance and disconnect (9) if from the mains.
Steaming
While cooking rice, you can use the steaming tray (3) to steam vegetables, fish, etc. Just insert the steaming
tray (3) on top of the rice bowl (2).
The steaming function will not work under the "warm" mode.
