DESCRIPTION:
The pGD1 graphical display is an electronic device, which allows the
complete management of the graphics via the display of icons and the
management of international fonts with two dimensions: 5x7 and 11x15
pixel.

WALL MOUNTING

The wall-mounting of the terminal envisions the initial fi xing of the rear of
the case A (Fig. 2) using a standard 3-module switch box.
Fix the rear of the case to the box using the roundhead screws present in
the packaging;
Connect the telephone cable;
Rest the front panel on the rear of the case and fi x the assembly using the
countersunk screws present inside the packaging as illustrated in (Fig. 2);
Finally, install the click-on frame.
ADDRESS CONFIGURATION
The terminal address can only be confi gured after the power supply has
been supplied to the same via the RJ12 telephone connector (the pre-set
factory value is 31).
To enter the confi guration mode, press the↓ ↑
(always present in all versions) for at least 5 seconds.
The mask in Fig. 3 will be shown with the cursor fl ashing in the top left
corner:
To modify the terminal address (display address setting) press
the
key once: the cursor will move onto the address fi eld (nn).

Use the ↓↑ keys to select the desired value and confi rm by
pressing
again. If the value selected is different to that
◄┘
memorised previously, the mask in Fig. 4 will appear and the
new value will be memorised in the permanent memory of the
display.
If the nn fi eld is set at 0, the terminal will communicate with the pCO
board using the "point-point" protocol (not pLAN) and the"I/O fi eld
Board address: xx" disappears as it has no meaning.
pCO: ASSIGNING POINTS
At this point, if it is necessary to modify the list of terminals associated
to each individual pCO board, the procedure given below must be
followed:
enter the confi guration mode using the ↓↑
description in the previous paragraph;
press the
key until the cursor is positioned on the xx fi eld (I/O
◄┘
board address) Fig. 3;
use the ↓↑keys to select the address of the desired pCO
board. The selectable values will be those of the pCO boards
effectively in line. If the pLAN network does not function
correctly, or no piCO board is present, it will not be possible to
modify the fi eld that shows "—" only;
by pressing the
key again, the masks in Fig. 5 will be shown in
◄┘
sequence;
also here the
key moves the cursor from one fi eld to the other
◄┘
and the ↓↑ keys change the value of the current fi eld. The P:xx
fi eld shows the address of the board selected. The example in
the fi gure shows 12 has ben selected;
to exit the confi guration procedure and memorise the data,
select the "OK ?" fi eld, set Yes and confi rm using the
keys at the same time
